The
press-forge polyamide items have to undergo a
humidification process in order to find their design
features of elasticity and resistance. PGV projected FUN
9001/9002 allow a controlled humidification treatment in
order to restore the item best condition and then use it
immediately. Il FUN composed of a metallic structure,
with internal stainless steel sealed chamber, thermally
insulated. Inside the structure there are the heating
systems by armoured electric resistors and a system for
forced-circulation of air. Motor driven dampers allow
the air inlet/exhaust in and out the furnace. The
closing door is provided with a safety device which
unlocks only when the inside temperature is not so high
to harm the operator.

The
humidification process is composed of three steps:
the first is the material pre-heating in order to
increase its porosity; the second is humidification,
during which humidity is absorbed by the item which is
kept in preset thermo-hygrometric conditions; the third
is the drying and cooling of the item, mainly performed
for aesthetic purposes, to obtain an item with a dry
surface. |

The
loading system consists of European standard
platforms capable to carry containers, possibly made of
stainless steel, drilled both on their sides and their
bottom in order to enable the forced-circulation of
steam. A footboard makes the introduction of containers
in the furnace easier.
