GL
Dryers are conceived for the treatment of granulate
thermoplastic materials which need a superficial removal
of humidity by means of hot air forced circulation. GL
Dryers up to a 75lt capacity can be directly installed
on machine tools; higher capacity models are supplied
with supports provided with wheels. All the series of
driers is arranged to be equipped with PGV loaders, for
the granulate non-stop load. All the dryers have the
surfaces in contact with the granulate made of stainless
steel and are thermally insulated; furthermore, they are
provided with filter on the air inlet and exhaust. The
cleaning and replacement are easy thanks to practical
unhooking systems. |

For the
drying of hygroscopic thermoplastic materials, PGV
has manufactured the DEU series of drying systems by
dehumidified air. These devices exploit the principle
based upon water absorption by means to specific
materials: this solution enables to obtain air having a
DEW POINT lower than –40°C. DEUAS model is fit for a
centralized dehumidification system, by connection of GL
series dryers. This equipment is very flexible because
it allows to connect GL with different capacities that
can work at independent temperatures and therefore can
treat different materials. These models are equipped
with a continuous regeneration rotating drum absorbing
system.

DEUM
and DEUGL models are monoblock dehumidifying systems,
to be positioned near the machine tools, with a
self-regenerating cartridge dehumidifying system. DEUM
system differs from DEUGL system because it has a
built-in loading system to the machine tool, and the
plastic granulate is always in a dry air environment. |
